About the Project
Surviving in the Concrete Jungle reimagines outdoor education in the context of modern urban life. The project brings together organizations from Germany, Poland, Armenia, and Georgia to explore how outdoor and experiential learning methods can be adapted to city environments. By connecting educators, rural development actors, and community facilitators, the initiative aims to turn cities into open classrooms that foster inclusion, sustainability, and civic participation.


​What We Do
​☑ Develop a Handbook on adapting outdoor and adventure education methods to urban realities, featuring case studies and good practices from all partner countries.
☑ Create a Practical Toolbox with ready-to-use methods and activities for educators, youth facilitators, and NGOs.
☑ Host Exchange and Development Visits (EDVs) in Europe and the South Caucasus to test and refine tools with local organizations and practitioners.
☑ Build a Network of educators and community actors promoting innovative, inclusive, and sustainable approaches to urban and rural learning.

☑ Publication of the Outdoor Education Revisited Handbook (2025)
☑ Launch of the Concrete Jungle Toolbox (2026)
☑ Strengthened cooperation among rural and urban community educators across Europe and the Caucasus
