About the Project

WE: Connect – Connect. Empower. Transform. aims to strengthen community resilience and cooperation by bringing together diverse local actors — including youth, women, civil society groups, and municipal representatives — to identify shared challenges and design joint solutions.

The project applies the “Do No Harm” and gender-transformative approaches to ensure inclusion, equality, and social cohesion at the community level. Through capacity building, participatory needs assessments, and community-led micro-initiatives, the project helps local actors move from dialogue to action.

​☑ Conduct participatory community needs and connectors/dividers assessments

☑ Build capacities of local change agents through tailored training programs

☑ Facilitate mentorship and coaching to support project design and implementation

☑ Promote inclusive and gender-sensitive community initiatives

☑ Strengthen collaboration between citizens and municipalities to address local priorities

☑ Strengthened networks of cooperation and trust within and between communities

☑ Increased local ownership of development processes and community-led decision-making
