''RRR IN YOUTH PROJECTS''

Youth Voice! Seminar

The friends and memories which we made during RRR project will last a lifetime. 
 

This training course was one of the greatest culture and character building programs that we could have in our whole life.
            Together going on the training course gave us a different perspective on how we view things in life. Traveling from Armenia to Tbilisi to Turkey than finally to Romania, we got to see a variety of people from different socioeconomic backgrounds and have first-hand experience observing how different their lives are and how wide the poverty gap is. It was a great opportunity to see how people handle with the same problems which seems indissoluble for you and get the chance to implement their experience trying to have a better situation.  Being participants in training course ''RRR IN YOUTH PROJECTS''  taking place in Romania, Aiud we learnt how reducing, reusing, and recycling can help us, our community, and the environment by saving money, energy, and natural resources. And as youth workers we will integrate environmental protection measures in our youth projects and activities and will use the Reduce Reuse Recycle concept during the upcoming projects, in order to have an environmentally responsible project.

We also are doing our best to share the knowledge and experience we gained during the exchange, so that’s we have already organised two informal meetings with young people to speak about RRR. We all together took a quiz to find out our Ecological Footprint and discovered our biggest areas of resource consumption, and learnt what we can do to tread more lightly on the Earth. And for the children of participating in ''SunChild'' summer school have been given a great education on the importance of recycling.

They also learnt how to reuse everyday materials around the house. We all together discussed Reduce, Reuse, Recycle — three great ways that we can eliminate waste and protect our environment! We spoke about how we choose to handle it, affects our world's environment. We came to the point that the environment is everything around us including the air, water, land, plants, and man-made things. And since by now we know that we need a healthy environment for our own health and happiness, we can understand why effective waste management is so important to us and everyone else. The waste we create has to be carefully controlled to be sure that it does not harm our environment and our health.
            Behind all these we had the opportunity to get to know new places. Traveling together, going to different places showed us how big and amazing the world is. Due to this we realized how little we are compared to many unknown world beauties.  And we made many funny and amazing stories and the most valuable thing that we got out of all these is our friendship.​
